Moving in Life

Our lease is up, and it's time for us to move again. But this move is different. I'm returning to the classroom to teach 1st grade at Uijongbu International Christian School. So we're moving to a city about an hour northeast of the Seoul area.

Don't worry, I'll still write. I have to; it's my passion. And I'm still in various writing groups.

But please pray for us as we adjust to a new city, that my kids find friends, that we adjust going from homeschooling back to a traditional school setting, and for strength and energy for me. I'm much older than when I left the classroom.

I am excited to read all my writer friend's books to my students. And perhaps we can do Skype author visits!

Any advice for balancing a job, writing, being a wife and mommy?

We're heading to the beach this week and move into our new place on 6/8. Thanks!

Oh, Tina! I'm so pleased to hear about your new job. I've been praying God would open the right doors for you, and this sounds like a wonderful opportunity. The students in your new classroom will be so blessed to have you share all your expertise and knowledge with them. And it'll be especially great that you'll also get to share your faith with them. I'll continue to pray for you and your family that you'll adjust well to the new situation. I think God has wonderful things in store for all of you. Hugs, Ev

Thinking of you and your family as you open a new chapter in your lives. May you, your kids and students grow and learn everyday. I always found my first graders so full of wonder and eager to learn. All the best.

I have NO idea how writers manage SO much at the same time, Tina, but I have a feeling that you'll be just fine. Best to you and yours with the changes to come!
